THE BLS AMBULANCE LICENCE INSPECTION WAS COMPLETED MONDAY 5-23-16 AND WE PASSED WITH NO ISSUES. TRAINING RECORDS, POLICIES AND PROCEEDURES AND EQUIPMENT CARRIED WERE ALL INSPECTED. OUR EMS LICENSE HAS BEEN RENEWED FOR ANOTHER 3 YEARS.

THE DOH THRU EMMCO WEST AND THE STATE FIRE ACADEMY HAVE APPROVED THE RECERTIFICATION OF OUR RESCUE TRUCK AT THE OPERATIONAL LEVEL. THE APPLICATION WAS COMPLETED LAST MONTH AS WELL AS A SITE INSPECTION TO REVIEW ALL THE REQUIRED EQUIPMENT, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
THE 2016 ANNUAL ERIE COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY AWARDS BANQUET (FORMALLY THE OLD TIMERS NIGHT) WAS HELD AT THE STATION 43 SOCIAL HALL LAST NIGHT. 150 FIREFIGHTERS FROM 20 COMPANIES WERE IN ATTENDANCE. THE MEMBERS OF PERRY HI-WAY ASSISTED THE CATERER IN SERVING THE FOOD.
