APPROX 1030 HRS THIS AM CREWS WERE CALLED TO A REPORTED KITCHEN FIRE ON GLEN EAGLES DRIVE OFF ZUCK ROAD BY SPRINGHILL. OUR ASSIGNMENT WAS 1 TRUCK AND 1 ENGINE TO RESPOND.  L-429 RESPONDED FROM STATION 42 WITH PAID STAFF WHIE E-432 RESPONDED FROM STATION 43 WITH VOLUNTEERS.  L-429 WAS PLACED IN LEVEL 1 STAGE WITH CREW TO ASSIST IN VENT AND OVERHAUL. E-432 STAGED AT THE SECONDARY HYDRANT.

QUINT 449 WAS FIRST ON SCENE AND HAD SMOKE VISABLE. THEIR CREW PULLED AN ATTACK LINE OFF Q-449 AND MADE ENTRY INTO THE HOME.  E-474 WAS SECOND DUE AND ASSISTED Q-449 WITH SEARCH AND FIRE ATTACK..  CHIEF 441 HAD THE COMMAND.  QUICK WORK BY THE ATTACK CREW HAD THE FIRE KNOCKED DOWN AND CONTAINED IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES.  MEMBERS FROM E-474 AND Q-449 DID PRIMARY SEACH OF THE BUILDING TO FIND NO OCCUPANTS.  E-483 WAS ON SCENE AND HAD THE RIT ASSIGNMENT.  THE FIRE WAS IN THE KITCHEN AND UNDER INVESTIGATION BY KFD AND THE MPD FIRE MARSHAL.  THERE WERE NO INJURIES IN THE FIRE.

APPROXIMATELY 25 MIN INTO THE FIRE E-432 WASPLACED IN SERVICE FROM 2ND WATER SULPPLY AND RELEASED TO RESPOND TO A MVA ON PERRY HI-WAY AT THE FRENCH QUARTERS BAR,

UNITS ON SCENE: Q-449, R-448, L-429, E-432, E-474, E-483, FIRE POLICE FROM WEST RIDGE AND PERRY HIWAY, MPD.
